Questions
How do I install the decks?
Install Anki (free on desktop & Android, paid on iOS), then double-click the .apkg file — or open it from the Anki app. Each deck imports with per-level subdecks, so you can start exactly at your HSK level.
Which platforms are supported?
Anki Desktop (Windows/macOS/Linux), AnkiDroid and AnkiMobile (iOS). Fonts, audio, images and the sentence maps are all embedded in the deck — no add-ons needed.
Do I need both decks?
They’re designed as a pair: the Illustrated deck trains recognition (see the word → recall the meaning), the Sentences deck trains production (see the context → recall the word). Both share the same 2,629-word library, so they reinforce each other.
What exactly is in the vocabulary?
The complete official HSK 2.0 lists for levels 1–5 (2,501 words) plus 128 hand-picked practical words and phrases across 9 everyday themes: Questions, Location, Time, Kitchen, Transport, Commute, Shopping, Restaurant and Bathroom.
